“There’s nothing worse than wedding invitations that are all the same. It was important to me that this is the first look into what my wedding is gonna be like, and I wanted to convey that it was going to be fun, it was gonna be a party, it wasn’t gonna just be any old wedding. Elyse was very hands-on, very involved, and very personable. The whole process from start to finish was so easy and fun, and so creative. I wasn’t quite sure what exactly I wanted at first, but once I saw all of the art Elyse had done and how many different things that go into an invitation suite, I knew there was so much more to the process. The design was so perfectly executed and exactly what we wanted. She was able to take our ideas as a couple and really run with them, but also added her own ideas which were so helpful and creative and really added a whole new layer of things I hadn’t even thought of yet. The price was worth that experience and especially for the quality of work that we received, too.”

“I was originally looking online at things like Minted but anytime I looked at their options, it just felt impersonal. And it was stuff that I had seen the time before. For us specifically, we really wanted to find a few little ways to honor our dogs and bring them in where possible. Those little details made the wedding very special. Being able to take the custom approach instead meant we could bring a little bit of ourselves to our wedding for our guests to see. Elyse’s work was great. The art and invitations are beautiful and very custom and unique to us as a couple. Elyse was very open with the design process and was open to my feedback, and also presented us with great options. Every step of the way she answered my questions and was very kind. Her work was so great. The tone of our wedding started from when our guests received our save-the-date and our wedding invitation and our invitations amped up our little details of our wedding. I don't like the traditional wedding invitation. I wanted to make it personal to me versus what's “standard” to most weddings. I wanted people to remember the little things, because I feel like when I go to weddings, I always remember the little things. It was also super important to me to work with a local artist rather than the big websites that control everything. I found that all these generic ones online weren't personal to me and my experience. My first initial conversation with Elyse was awesome. She was able to look at everything with fresh eyes and the moment I saw the first concept I knew it was perfect. It was like a breath of fresh air to work with E Stokes Creations. She was so communicative and she made it very clear and organized throughout the whole process to where I didn't really have any questions once we got started. Once we sent the invitations out, I immediately got texts and calls from my friends and family! The first immediate reactions were from the envelope color and stamps used! All my friends and coworkers still have them hung up in their homes and/or desks at work. All the designs were truly amazing.
