Nestled in the picturesque North Georgia mountains is the historic Tate House in Tate, Georgia. This venue provided the absolute perfect backdrop for Mallory and Jeff’s dreamy wedding. Designing Mallory and Jeff’s Dream Invitation Suite

From our very first meeting, Mallory had a clear vision for her wedding invitations. She wanted a blend of fairytale romance and classic sophistication, with personalized touches that made each piece unique. We chose a color palette of white, sage green, and gold to bring her vision to life. Next, we chose to include watercolor florals, hand-lettered calligraphy, vintage stamps, and silk ribbons.

  • Custom Crest and Wax Seal: One standout feature was a custom crest. First it was hand-painted in watercolor, then transformed into a beautiful line-drawn wax seal.

  • Hand-Lettered Calligraphy: Mallory and Jeff’s names took center stage in my signature hand-lettered calligraphy, with all the important details easy to find.
  • Floral Details and RSVP Cards: The details card included additional information, adorned with wedding florals. The RSVP card had options for guests to joyfully accept or regretfully decline, with space for names and guest count.

Each invitation suite element was thoughtfully designed. The goal? To reflect Mallory and Jeff’s unique love story and the timeless elegance of their wedding theme.

Special Touches and Personal Elements

To ensure the invitations felt personal and special, we included several unique touches:

  • QR Code: The details card featured a QR code linking to the couple’s wedding website.
  • Envelope Art: Light sage green envelopes complemented the invitation suite, adorned with vintage stamps featuring architecture, florals, birds, and a fawn.

Baseball Calligraphy: A particularly unique request was calligraphy for a custom-built baseball wall, with baseballs displaying each guest’s name and table number—a nod to the couple’s love for the Atlanta Braves.

Wedding couple had a baseball wall with guest names and table assignments, acting as the seating chart for the wedding in Tate, Georgia. Atlanta Braves and MLB fans can incorporate this fun concept into their wedding.
